Azalea Sands Golf Course located in North Myrtle Beach is considered to be the most "on the rise" golf courses in the area. After new ownership took over a few years ago, many changes have been made to the grounds, pro shop, snack bar, and overall personality of the course.

Azalea Sands is an 18 hole golf course located off of highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach. The course is designed to fit all skill levels of players, from youth to retired. The course was opened in 1972 and are fast approcahing their 50th year anniversary. Designed by Gene Hamm, the course has no adjoining housing so that you can get the true Myrtle Beach golf experience.

The course itself is friendly but also has its unique challenges. While not being the longest course, there are a multitude of strategically placed bunkers, traps, and water so that you will have to plan out each shot. Hole number 17 is famous for its length, typically only measuring at 117 yards. If you;ve never scored an ace before, this hole gives you a genuine shot at it.

 

 

The snack bar has been completely rennovated with a menu that is always changing and trying new and fun menu items. Loaded with couches, tables and TVs, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and a meal after your round. The staff has been completely revamped and it will be hard to find an employee without a big smile on their face. 

Azalea Sands is committed to giving their golfers and customers the best experience possible. A fully stocked pro shop is filled with all top quality brands including Titleist, TaylorMade, Travis Matthew and many more.

Along with all the new changes, Azalea Sands holds a plethora of golf tournaments and charity events for the community. They were also proud to host a round for the 2021 Pro Am tour on championship day.
