Great track, but a little too "fancy" for me.

Very nice course, in great shape very well maintained but it is a difficult course to play you better hit the fairway on your tee shots.

Course has a nice layout, but the day I played it was overbooked and slow play over shadowed the experience. 5.25 hours to play a round and waiting on every shot is unacceptable when playing a top tier course. When I complained after the round, it was just shrugged off with no apologies. So I assume by the staff’s response, slow play is typical and can be expected. I would be reluctant to play here again.

Played on Friday. Understood they lost revenue lately due to storms but it was ridiculous. 5 1/2 hour round. No Marshall on course and people playing their boom boxes on the course. It was a classic case of getting as many people out as possible. More about making money than worrying about a golf experience. Plus greens were over seeded and they offered no discount

Very fun but challenging course beautiful layout saw a gator on back nine par 3 with island green looked pretty well fed so no worries but a little shy when I tried to get a picture of it. Course was in top notch condition besides the digging that was going on? Not sure why so much digging but nothing that interrupted play. Over all a great experience.

This is the most challenging course on the Grand Strand. TPC will test your skills no matter the tees you play from, it is tough. The greens are fast and true and the grounds crew works very hard to keep the course in shape and it shows. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach be sure to fit in a round or two at TPC. 8/19/18 - The course is getting some beautiful new white sand bunkers. It makes the course look great. The old bunkers were extremely penal. They've restored them to thier original configuration. Each bunkers has built in drainage. FYI, greens were aerated two weeks ago.

The bunkers, greens & fairways were in rough condition. The cart staff & rangers were obviously in a hurry to get everyone off the course. The practice green was closed & the driving range closed at 3 pm. The customers in the snack bar were very loud & disruptive. The entire atmosphere was not at all what we expected. We could not have been more disappointed. We would not recommend this place to anyone, we're sorry we played there, and we won't be back. A very stressful experience! Golf is supposed to be fun and relaxing. Not at this place!

Course was in the worst shape I have ever seen. They should have never let anyone out on the course. Fairways were completely soaking wet and had spots on the fairway without grass. The greens were burnt in multiple spots and there were multiple bunkers without sand in them. When booking the tee time we were never told once what shape the course was in and never gave us money back or even a rain check to come back and play when the course was back to normal. It is definitely not worth the price.

I cannot recommend to anyone to play this course under the current conditions. I was warned that the greens have suffered and was told that on a scale of 1 to 10 the greens would be a 7. Well that is a generous self review by the pro shop, the greens are more like a 2. Extremely disappointed in the greens especially since sizable sections have been removed and new sod has been put down. This change in green conditions has occurred since Memorial Day weekend when the greens were in good shape, just rolling slow. Don’t be fooled by the course name, the conditions do not equal the other TPC courses throughout the country.
