Palmetto Greens Golf Club
Formerly known as the Old Charters golf course, architect Rick Robbins has imaginatively recreated Palmetto Greens from the previous course by adding lush bent grass greens and two waterfalls that cascade invitingly to create an atmosphere of serenity. The course, being the newest course to Myrtle Beach, offers a stimulating layout for golfers of any skill level and 6,506 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par 71. Even though the course has been redesigned, the second hole is the only one that remains unchanged.
Placed just off the beaten path, Palmetto Greens has several unforgettable holes defined by centuries old hardwoods and water hazards that are strategically placed. The course was designed to contend with some of the newest and more appealing courses in the area. The layout curves around the natural roll of land formations that are one of Myrtle Beach's best-known characteristics. Palmetto Greens offers 18 unique holes that provide amazing views of man-made waterfalls and verdant Norman Bermuda fairways. The greens are not unreadable, but they will offer any player a formidable challenge.
Located just off Highway 9 in the North Myrtle Beach area, Palmetto Greens is easily accessible from any point in Myrtle Beach, Surfside and Calabash. After its two year facelift, let Palmetto Greens give you the chance to show you what it is maAnchorde of with its cascading waters, and white-sanded bunkers.
